With lunch available before noon and music and drinks available after midnight, Spud's Waterfront Dining can help you get the most out of a Carolina summer day.

Sit back and relax on the deck in Murrells Inlet while the boats unload a day's catch and tourists embark on watersport expeditions from the marina below.  Oysters' Rockefeller, Calamari and Garlic Mussels prepare you for a fabulous lunch of Shrimp Scampi or Blackened Chicken Alfredo. Come back in the evening for cool breezes, live music and happy hour.

Diners can create their own seafood platter with boiled, grilled or fried shrimp, lobster, scallops or flounder.  Freshly caught fish are grilled or pan fried to perfection in a wide array of menu entrees including Black Sea Bass Parmesan and Sesame Seared Tuna. 

Owner Seth Williams and Executive Chef Trent Lummus put their heart and souls into creating a waterfront dining experience for locals and tourist alike. 

While diners will enjoy music on the deck, late-night crowds travel to the "Tiki Bar" at ground level to gather with full bands in a dockside environment conductive to a party atmosphere.

Chef Trent's Featured Recipe

Shrimp and Crab Primavera

Ingredients: (Entree, serves 1)

8 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 teaspoon garlic

Assorted vegetables

1 tablespoon butter

Splash of white wine

2 cups of heavy cream

salt to taste

Pepper to taste

1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese

1 ounce jumbo lump crab meat

1  cup pasta

 

Preparation:

Sautee shrimp, garlic and vegetables in butter, add white wine to deglaze pan.  Add cream, salt and pepper, then reduce by half.  Add Parmesan cheese and stir well.  Add crab and stir gently so you don't break up the crab meat; bring to desired temperature.  Pour over pasta of your choice.
